  • New Round of MACOSC Grants Available

The MACOSC Safe Shooting grant program for shooting clubs for the financial year 2010-11 is now open. Applications from clubs can be made for funding grants to upgrade their facilities to either meet compliance requirements from the Firearms Registry, or to make the shooting sports more widely available to members of their local communities.

The program last financial year delivered $750,000 to 62 clubs across the State. The MACOSC grant program was instigated by The Shooters Party, under Premier Bob Carr, at the insistence of our founder, John Tingle. In the last three years the Government has provided $1,950,000 in funding for shooting clubs around the State.

Clubs can access application forms through our office.
