Lets say I had a few head of cattle on my property. I will slaughter a few head for the local butchers.

First, I tie a leg or two, pull the steer over, bash it several times with a chain or what ever is availabel. Throw buckets of water over it whilst its down to try and get it to stand up!

Hmm, its still down but not getting up? I want it to get up and go to where I want to slaughter it not where it fell? So I break its tail to try and get it up, yes its moving, moving, nu, Sorry, its stayed down. Looks like it has no grip on the wet concreat floor!
