Ammunition Limit for Piracy
I thought it appropriate to bring to your attention the ammunition limits nominated for a Restricted Goods Permit required for export of firearms and ammunition for Category A B and H firearms when accompanied by the user;
Target shooting 4000 rounds
Hunting 200 rounds
Protection in international waters against piracy 300 rounds.
Somewhere, somehow, a bureaucrat has determined that precisely 300 rounds would be sufficient to stave off a piracy attack. As a side issue, it seems that once offshore, the legitimacy of self defence use, seems to be acknowledged. Luckily, there are no pirates on land back here.
" As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air — however slight — lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness.
