Shooters and Fishers Party MLC, Robert Borsak, says the State Government's new electoral funding laws, passed by a deal with the Greens last night are an attack on small parties like the Shooters and Fishers Party.
He said the Legislation limits and restricts who can donate to a Party, and how much money they can donate.
"The new law will make it illegal for your shooting or fishing club to donate money on your behalf to the Shooters and Fishers Party."
"In future, shooters and fishers will need to donate small amounts directly to the Party."
"The Christian Democrats moved an amendment on our behalf to remove not-for-profit organisations and community groups from the new laws, but the Liberals, Nationals, Labor and Greens all voted against the amendment (see attachment)."
"All shooters and fishers in general in New South Wales will need to start donating small amounts every year, say a $10.00 donation each, once a year, directly to the Party."
"This is the only way we will have the cash resources to fight for our rights."

As you see it looks like this is going to be the first page in the last chapter of legal firearms ownership in NSW when combined with the Ammunition amendments.

It is going to be a death of a thousands cuts.

As most of you will well know the vast majority of shooters and fishers dont even know what is effecting them legally let alone vote for the SFP.

So as Rob says we need to donate, but I honestly dont think this will happen in sufficient amounts and the TSFP will die a withering death just as designed by ****holes such as Scippyoney, BOF, Shoebridge, and other Labor soft cocks want it to.

So I just came up with a idea to assist the donation efforts

We need to lobby all NSW shooting and hunting clubs/associations to put in place the following incentive for annual membership fees.

If you donate 15% of your annual membership fee of your club/association to the Shooters and Fishers Party and can provide a official receipt of said donation with your membership payment then your annual clubs membership fee will be reduced by 25%.

Thus saving you 10%.

After all if there is no SFP then it will not be long till there are no Firearms legally owned in NSW and as such the clubs and associations will disappear. So it is in their interest to support this.
